Around 1130 today Crews from LFD were alerted to the 200 Block of West 3rd St for a Structure Fire. After initial dispatch units were given a corrected address of 226 W 3rd. Batt 11 reported thermal column from 2 blocks out. Tower was 1st to arrive reporting heavy fire from side A. Engine 13-1 was next in putting 2 handlines into service and attacking the fire. Crews put a quick hit on the main fireload in 226 W 3rd St but not before it spread into 228 W 3rd St. Crews remained on scene until 1645 hrs with extensive overhaul.
